Our Toddler Program provides care for children beginning at age 18 months through 30 months. We offer many activities to foster their development and learning and strive to help them achieve their fullest potential. Children develop at their own rate and we encourage their learning at whatever stage they may be.

Toddlers have a special need in that they can not always communicate what it is that they want or need. We foster the use of their words to tells us what their current need is: any attempt is praised and encouraged.

They take part in group times for short periods of time during the day, where they will enjoy books, songs and learning activities. Art is one of their favorite times of the day where they enjoy painting, gluing, coloring, etc. Free play is also an important time of the day where they work on more social issues such as sharing, taking turns, making sure they are using their words, etc. They enjoy free play both inside and outside.

Parents provide their child with the following:

  • Diapers and Wipes
  • A Nutritious Lunch (They are learning to feed themselves so finger foods are best)
  • Bottles, cups, drink boxes, etc. for the day
  • An extra set of clothes
  • A crib size sheet and blanket (for full day attendance)

At the end of each day parents will receive a report on their child's day. It will tell them how and what they ate, how long they slept, what they had for snack, the activities they enjoyed, and their diapering results for the day. This assists parent in asking their child questions about their day and helps parents to reinforce concepts they are working on.

We know that being separated from your child can be difficult on both of you. We encourage you to make us aware of any way we can assist you in making this a joyful experience.

Most of all we desire for the children to know that Jesus loves them and wants to be their Lord and friend.
